Booo!OK Wanj, here's a list of last years I-stage 11 finalists. I know it's close to halloween but there isn't anything jumping out as familar, mind blowing or even a little scarey.
Cubicvue LLC, CubicVue 3D Filter Entourage Systems Inc., The eDGe Immerz Inc., KOR-FX Meld Technology, WholeHomeHD™ Regen Inc., ReNu™ Tenrehte Technologies, PICOwatt Thinkeco Inc., the modlet Thinkoptics Inc, iWavit™ Valencell, Healthset® Zagg Inc., ZAGGbox zero1.tv Gmbh, VooMoteSecondly, the list of companies with booths at the CES and the list of companies vieing for top honors at 2010 I-Stage competition are 2 very different lists. Now if you can give me the list that the final nine was whittled down from, your point might have some merit. A useless link to the CES website shows nothing.
Thirdly, if the CES actually gets any press from this, it'll likely be a wannabe weather girl doing a 2 minute bit on the trade show and will only show the really cool stand alone gadgets. A set of earphones is neither real cool or stand alone (sorry TP, looks like you'll be stringing rackets for few more years).
