RE: Competition In-Ear buds

RE: Competition In-Ear budsIt gives the consumer an idea what the drivers are worth...  As far as the earplugs, $149 is about a $100 more than I would pay.  So far I'm happy buying a bulk box of foam disposables.  Use em once or twice and toss them out.  I keep a dozen or so in my shop, gararge, house and truck.  A couple of packs in my pockets if I know I'll be around noisy equipment and I know I'll be good for the day.  An earplug doesn't do you any good if you can't find a set or lose one.

I know I'm repeating myself but, SHH needs to drop $100 off each model they "plan" to offer.  Big mistake making the headband a one use disposable.

The market is flooded with earbuds.  So many even Moses would have trouble parting them.  To think SHH can just drop in and have instant market share at 2 or 3 times the price of the competition is just a pipe dream.

You just have to ask yourself, are these earbuds worth half the price of an Ipad or worth doubling the cost of the Itouch?  I don't think Apple does either.  Not to mention they lack a mic.
