The forum has at least two sleuths now who scratch the surface and report back to show their findings. In case you need to see it more clearly I shall spell it out: One of the two sleuths is 1handontheotherhand, and the other one is The_Primed_Report. Both of us reported a bit of information about a thing called "MADE" in connection with Sonomax.
Ceilidh1 pointed out that all this needs to be confirmed more seriously, as anyone could give the benefit of the doubt, to MADE and to Sonomax. But let no-one ask the dumb question as to whether they "are the same entity" -- because it shall always be possible to deny this for a number of legal detail reasons.
McGillStocks showed the possible implications for Sonomax future resale.
My sense of all this is that CurlyMick has the right intuition. It is Extremely Unlikely that any signing officer of Sonomax got duped into thinking the Taiwan entity was an established Taiwan entity all on its own. It's not an option. The Taiwan entity is undoubtedly a shell created for legal reasons.
