?. Fascinating. Did you not like the form-fitting ear-thing? Not enough to plan a purchase a few days in advance of the need? Why did they need replacing?

As I said, the form fitting was fantastic but they wore out after years of heavy use at they gym and jogging. I don't want to sit around waiting for something to show up and then hope I'm home when UPS or Fedex decides to show up. Personally, I don't buy anything online that I need to take physical possession of. Just my personal preference. Ice

I realize that tomorrow is not the same as "now" but for the same price, you could have gotten a pair of the 250's on Amazon.>

Broadening my query. Has anyone Ever said That "In-Ear" speakers were the best? That Over-Ear headsets were lousy? That the small, medium, large foam plugs for cheap in-ear headsets were (insert word here: lousy or acceptable)? Or anything similar to these statements?

Good ideas. Your view fits too: that an inexpensive start is better than an ideal but expensive rollout. " ... Sonomax people monitor this board? " As long as real users are talking about the enduser experience, there is hope. Tks!

That makes sense. I wonder if the Klipsch's, Shure's, Whetstone's, etc of the world will want the technology in production or will want it buried. any body have a link that gives more details on what IP was included in the ValueLink deal? Was it 51% of the entire patent portfolio? Was it certain patents meaningful to the consumer market?

As I understand it, all IP that was existing to that point and no rights to any future IP that is currently in development. I may be wrong but that is my understanding.

Whether or not consumers demand it . Whether or not consumers will Go For It. Whether or not the manufacturers can turn this feature into a Hot Selling Point. This is all that matters. These questions have already been raised thousands of times before in other places. Undoubtedly. -- It was 51% of all IP.

Not exactly true. The right team for promotion and marketing will create the demand, create the want, force the consumers to go for it. With this product it should be relativly easy IMO. Think about it... how many people really needed or wanted a slap chop?

If they can sell millions of pet rocks then this should have been a no-brainer,major obstacle obviously the price point.Made in Taiwan sounds good to me @ half the price.Quality may suffer but who cares about quality anymore. wdr2

100% wrong on all counts. Going down-market puts it into comparisons with $10 Sony earbuds. Talking of petrocks puts you into pure play territory, marketing-wise. Dissing quality puts you into fecal matter Sheiss territory. Wdr2 stay away from any analysis. You are not an analyzer. Know your strengths.
