The demand for energy will continue. Can the world's economy withstand the incredible shock that would occur if nuclear simply disappeared? What other commodity would fill the void and most importantly, what would that commodity cost under those circumstances? It does not matter which commodity--the result would be the same. Shock.
Economic recovery would most certainly be in trouble in that circumstance. And that would be across the board. World policy makers will "review" nuclear but they will not kill it.
