Market situation

Market situationIn all seriousness, the spot market may well be in for a dip.  Do I believe that it will reflect the true supply and demand fundamentals?  No.  Am I willing to sell to try to catch such a dip?  No.
.
I do not believe that betting on the substance of such a dip is a good bet.  It is much like betting on the next tick of the price of UUU--impossible to predict and the domain of gamblers.  Such a dip would not reflect the fundamentally good story here and I am not the kind of guy who sits at my computer all day (while I am running a nuclear reactor and trading HNU) trying (hoping) to catch such a dip.
.
Almost universally, there is agreement by commentators that the supply gap is real.  But it is a longer term thing.  It is in the future.  The market looks to the future.
.
A dip would likely be due to temporary softness in the spot market.  Today.  Long term contracts remain in place.  Long term demand remains in place.  The news of new builds continues to flow.
.
Let's not get drawn into the fear of a dip and make the mistake of selling.  That would be a major mistake.
.
Ask yourself this:  why would people who don't own this stock take the time out of their otherwise busy and productive days to comment on this stock if it was such a POS?  Ponder that and have a laugh...
