Cautious Optimism

THe fact they hae put a special committee together to try and understsand future strategy is key - for the last 2 years mgmt has been kicking the can downing the lane hoping oil prices would rebound and that would result in more business. Is the technology good, yes, is the mgmt team smart yes, is this a situation of having a good technology in a bad market  absoloutley. Not sure what the options are but the best one involves finding a strategic partner that can help fund them till an oil price recovery can get them back on track or somehow slowng operations to a crawl cost wise with extreme cost cutting measures and lay offs until the recovery.... could go either way but right now with Fort Mac in a tough spot, spot oil hanging below $50 and comapnies cutting themselves as lean as can be this service can only be viewed from the lense of future value

TheTechTroll I really don't know why you continue to loiter on this board. You've made it perfectly clear on an ongoing "beat a dead horse" basis that you don't like this stock. We all get it and know it so move on from here. I, personally, like to come here and read comments from others who have something to add. You are annoying and have nothing to offer here. The vendetta ...more

Great points - short of the personal insults I got from others here when the stock was .19 of buck. I do this because its fun. Unfortunately the arrogance of the board has led to a ruinous situation for many, well their portfolios anyway......  So speaking of due diligence, give me more than hope: - what of value is in the revenue pipeline? - what is in the product // R&D Pipeline ...more

Valid points thetechtroll. The company has been very opaque lately with their strategy and market position and there really should not be a reason for them to do that. If there are significant structural issues with the market, disclose them together with managements mitigation strategy. Would it damage the stock price by admiting issues? Sure, but there is more damage done by the approach the ...more
