If someone has concerns about the region, rather than read books about business economics, they should read books and news articles about Africa history as well as articles about the "current" geopolitics" of Africa, and of Ethiopia specifically.
To paint Ethiopia with the same brush as some of the less stable countries in Africa shows a lack of understanding of the economics and politics of the country.
If nobody looked beyond the immediate proximity of one country to the next, who in their right mind would invest in South Korea.
While on the subject of Quebec, that may not be the best example of political stability. Also, their record for being "mining and business friendly" could be debated...
