On that note, I believe a reliable news source a couple of months ago reported SallyAnn (Salvation Army) actually put the donated funds to purposeful use - unlike the United Way & others - where salaries/wages sucked up the majority of donated funds.

Allana's donation, regardless of size, makes excellent political sense going forward.

Providing the Ethiopians with any assistance - funds, employment opportunities in a variety of ways - mining, transportation, education, infrastructure, etc, strongly enhances Allana's participation in the development of Ethiopia, signalling a very long-term association.

Disappointing to see the current sp where it sits BUT, like many other astute posters here (YOU know who they are), Allana will pay off in the mid- to long-term.
