RE: RE: WOW Rod,
I'm gald you didn't respond, because I needed to catch my breath after all the gut busting hilarity over the Flames.
I mean, talk about pumping that doesn't work: here we have, what, 12,000 or so "fans" (direct from the set of "Brokeback Mountain", and no where near full attendance to be sure) coming out and score a GOAL. But they can't do it, right?
I suggest that the Flames should pack it in. They have ZERO chance of ever becoming anything and the statistics prove it. That's why all intelligent Calgarians stay how counting their oil revenues and skip the hockey games. It's too depressing.
Compared to Allana, the Flames are like a ditch dug in the middle of the Sahara sold on the Frankfurt exchange as a great new source of irrigation.
So here is my gift to you, the spread trade for 2012: SHORT the Calgary Flames, LONG Allana Potash. Call your broker to figure it out. Oh and you're welcome for the trade idea. I think it will be a big winner.
