I see the low volume as absolute NO interest by the day-traders & program-traders
Starting Jan2012, the bb dialogue should become much more interesting than the stupid banter that has taken its place - call it boredom.
As for Coty1940 - I see him as a "fence-sitter" or a day-trader, which I believe he has already acknowledged. He has provided some good trading insights - contra to the liking of us long-term holders. Other than the silly nonsense among the baiters & responders, I see nothing wrong with his input. AAA's sp is the concern - it seems some posters object to the negativity he's posted; but, some of the comments made appear factual.
Let's give this nonsense a rest & look forward (with open eyes & mind) to a great 2012 & beyond.
I'm a long-time AAA holder & will see this to the end (whenever that will be).
