how about nothing. This is not iraq.syria. The europenan coutries are scared shi tless. Putin has already threatened to nationalize european assets in Russia to cover any costs. Shutting down the gas is always a threat. The West can't do anything to stop this except to kiss off the crimea and bring the Ukraine into nato to stop any further russian anexations. Whatever you think of Putin, he's an old school cold war player.
