RE:RE:RE:Allana Community News (Edition Two , July – December 2013)LOL.... You seem to be bashing pretty hard for someone with no interest in Allana..... Lol.... Notice they ate planning on moving the villages early 2014.... I wonder why??? Allana’s Resettlement Process Allana is in the process of engaging two communities which are to be resettled as a health and safety precaution due to the establishment z of the mining facilities and associated infrastructure. The resettlement process is being conducted according to Ethiopian and international legislation and best practice. The two communities have been fully engaged in the process to ensure the company protects the livelihood capabilities of all members of the two communities. The Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) is being conducted by an experienced team of social and livelihood specialist consultants from Environmental Resource Management (ERM) and adheres to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) performance standards. The two communities will be resettled in early 2014 and ongoing assistance and monitoring will take place as Allana ensure that the resettlement is a successful one.
