Nice move there announcing a combination and then cancelling it.

Aberdeen International has set itself up as a Market Intermediary with no controls or licensing thereof.

Aberdeen International is also advertising itself as a Merchant Bank, which may have Canadian Bank Act consequences.

Aberdeen International is buying and selling shares in other companies, and making that their main business. They also claim they are owned by Forbes & Manhattan, a corporate complex founded by the same person (Mr. Bharti) who is the chairman of the board of Aberdeen International. If you were owned by another company, why are you still running your own stock? Why does the website of Forbes & Manhattan say nothing about its directors or management?

Ownership positions in these other companies stated on the website are for January 31, 2012, yet subsequent announcements of financial results have been made by Aberdeen International without updating the statement of ownership positions. There is a collection of logos indicating companies in which Aberdeen allegedly has an interest, however there are ones in the collection of logos which are not on the statement of ownership positions, and there ones in the statement of ownership positions which are not in the collection of logos.

This company does not have the business or financial infrastructure to run a mutual fund, and it is not licensed as a market intermediary or as a financial advisor. Continued operations in its current form are probably not eternal.

This information has been compiled from information which appeared on Aberdeen International's website as of 2012-12-07, and has been copied, and filed. Good luck!
