RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Some analysis for the next days/weeks@Red_Deer  When I look at 1 year daily chart, I don’t see a reason to sell for this year capital loss.  In order to have a capital loss you need to have bought AAB at higher prices and sell it at a lower price. Actually there will be for most of this year a capital gain if someone sell their shares right now.  Also in order to have a capital loss for tax purpose, you need to trade in a non-registraded account. Now investor trade inside RRSP or TFSA because it’s way simple to trade or daytrade as your don’t have to submit any transactions for your income tax form. In those registred account any loss or capital gain are not considered as such.  Conclusion:  there will be no pressure selling for this year capital loss but at this price you will end up having a capital gain instead voil!
