I would agree with RD's speculation on this topic. When a new manager takes over, there is always that risk that the fund or strategy changes course. For all we know, there could be an activist in the wings looking to buy that postion and try for a proxy vote similar to what Ryan Morris did a while back.

I would also add that this year will be transformational for a number of AAB holdings, as Valencia and Blue Sky will be amalgamated with private entities. Corresponding with a recovery in commodites, I think AAB's NAVPS will be much higher one year from now. The bigger the discrepancy between NAV and SP, and the odds are higher that another entity would try for a takeover. Stan is also privy to expecations of what these private entities might trade for after going public. If Troilus Gold is any indication, investors would be wise to show patience at this time.
