RE:I don't understand why the AC stock goes down now?As you know by now, most stocks don't follow conventional logic. There are various forces at play and I'm sure much of this is orchestrated by money mangers rather than the average Joe not having too much faith in the company. As long as it's more profitable to short and trade this stock then that will continue to happen. I feel like today was intended to shake some weak hands and trigger stop losses rather than a real BAD news sell sell sell scenario.

Realistically, we need more institutional investors on this stock (longs) and quite honestly the only way you can really convince a number of them is through a dividend -- they'll hold through highs and lows, maybe even add, if they have some guaranteed income at the end of the year. Sadly, the share buyback almost did nothing for the stock.
