You  have no idea what your talking about. I said mainline yields this year are already better than 2015. Rouge is doing exactly what is was designed for. And what is this myth about transatlantic collapse ?? 

Raymond James ( Ben C ) is looking at Air Transat results. And applying it to what they think AC Q3 will do ?? Cut and Paste. 
Where does Air Transat fly to this time of the year ? Europe of course. Only Europe. 

RJ and yourself have not once mentioned anything about the rest of AC routes. Canada ,USA , Asia. 
How do you think this summer went? Killing it . Add this to the equation and you might get a better idea of what AC will announce Nov 7. 

You also say that WestJet can go high density pax ? Really ? What aircraft do they have sir? Mainline. 737. Impossible to stuff any meaningful more seats on the baby Boeing. Yes , I know they have a couple used 767s . Not going to even bother explaining further the difference in fleet. 

Lufthansa . Star alliance founder ( along with United , and AC ) . Lufthansa actually went out and bought a size able chunk of JetBlue in 2007. And started filtering pax thru JetBlue on connecting USA flights. Did United or AC cry ? Of course not. This is business . And they were hoping to offload the share they owned and make a profit down the line. What IS killing Lufthansa is Emirates ! And the other 2 big Mideast carriers. Something like 90 weekly flights into German hubs using A380 777 will put a dent in anybody's bottom line. German gov actually capped the limit on what Emirates can fly in to Germany. . But the the damage has been done . Canadian gov and Air Canada's pilot union saw what Emirates did to Lufthansa ( and a lot of other legacy euro carriers) . Result ? Limit Emirates to 3 weekly YYZ flights. Dubai is used to connect to the rest of the globe. That's all Emirates does . Why in the hell would we allow them access to daily Yyz, Yul, yyr , Yvr. Flights to connect thru Dubai ?  To late for Lufthansa though . Damaged . This is a business .

Was at Air Transat at the very beginning. We sat around thinking up a name for the airline. Finally came up with the idea that we would be Trans Atlantic  ....to Europe. And crossing the Atlantic for deep Caribbean runs in the winter. Get it ?? Air TransAt. Crossing the Atlantic. 

We explained to Raymond James and years later Ben C what we where planning. Did not have a bloody clue as to what was being explained to them. This was the 80 s. Company is still around. And announced a small profit in the " collapse of the Atlantic". 

the only reason I bought AC shares is that I truly believe this management knows what they are doing. CR was absolutely correct in daring day traders to get lost. He like me are in this for the long haul. 

Raymond James boys don't have a clue.
