321 XLR range

321 XLR rangeHere is an article on the new fuel tank for the 321 XLR.  New range for the 321 will be 4700 nautical miles.  For us out west it means we look at possible non stop flights to Halifax (2760 miles), Cancun without weight restrictions (3970 miles) and even the eastern Caribbean destinations like Barbados (4350 miles).

For the east it means you can fly into small airports anywhere in Europe non stop.  Toronto to Moscow is 4600 miles for example.

Conversion mile to nautical miles is 1 mile = .87 nautical mile ... 1 nautical mile = 1.15 miles for those not familiar.

Once the dust settles I can see this aircraft being a very important addition to the AC fleet.
