Real investors know what today is, the funds drive the price down (last few weeks) buy the dip and givie it a little pump the day before ER get the retail folks to buy in before bad ER drops meanwhile they increase the short position and when the realality sets in pre market tomorrow after the ER drops they make a lot of cash when they trigger a panic sell off form those who thought they could turn a 5% profit in a day.
