new investors do not know what interest rate hikes doIts amazing that more dont seam to realize this. It makes me think they have never lived in the times where there was interest rate hikes.

The feds raise the rate, drives money out of the stock market in to the Bond market. 4 Raises in a year accelerates the exidus from the market.
Those living day to day loose thier houses and forfit on Debts they will sell off to try and cover.
Flying is a luxury its one of the areas hardest hit.
Now on top of everything else how much money is traded through Robin hood and robin hood like platforms? most of which is by younger folks who have never experianced this they only know 0.25% interest rates, and have borowed to invest. Jack the rates they have to pay they cant pay...... big issues on the way
