With rentals and real estate prices still above pre-pandemic levels, almost half of all young adults 18-29 are still living with their parents. For many wages are up and they are spending on luxury items... iphones, entertainment, dining out and travel.
 
2022 was the turnaround year for airlines. But... 2023 and 2024 wlll be the big years of growth.
 
"People have shifted their spending away from goods to travel, restaurants and ball games,” Zandi said. “Airplanes have been packed.”
