Mandatory Qurantine Period

Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on the mandatory 14-day isolation period upon returning to Canada by air? Is the government of Canada being proactive at all in determining an alternative solution to these measures? I.e. allowing passengers to pay for a test upon arrival? 

How much longer will they keep this type of measure in place? Any thoughts?

I believe they just extended it to Sept 30th

Listen pal. Don't tell me where to post what for starters.  secondly, there is a correlation between the amount of travellers and the mandatory qurantine period. Without even looking I can tell you that many people aren't travelling because they can't qurantine for 14 days afterwards.  air canada has sent letters to the government twice now about these draconian
