Aid for aviation

do you guys think based on the aviation sector headlines this week that the Gov might announce financial aid for the aviation sector next week. I feel like they must be working on something for them based on the throne speech. Also what news sources would you recommend to monitor. Thank you.

Only support I'm seeing are for American airlines. Their entire sector is up.

They're working on something for Canadian regional routes as per throne speech so no communities are isolated, no guarantee it is going to be for Air Canada though but it seems a likely possibility since Air Canada did shut a bunch of regional routes down.

That's a good step, but what we really need is a reduced quarantine period and we need that before the Christmas holiday season.

I believe the best way the government could aid the airlines would be to allow for a reduced quarantine period. This way airlines start earning more and the government doesn't need to produce a massive loan. The sector would still need help, but perhaps not 7 billion help.  it's all about reduced quarantine. I will keep saying it until something happens. We need this by the holiday
