AC pays off net 109,000,000,000 in LT debt

Finally, some more good news on debt reduction.

This converts into AC not needing to pay approximately 100,000,000CAD in annual interest payments going forward.

This is what happens when a corporation has sound financial management.  You not only reduce debt but also spend less of your income on interest payments.  

This is good on the corporate level and on the personal level.

Sorry, 1,090,000,000 billion USD. It still means 100,0000,000 CAD less in annual interest.   Which is $.25 per share in diluted earnings using 385MM shares. P/E is 3.8 so represents $1 per share in share price. Other airlines with similar fundamentals have a P/E of 7 to 9 and have fleet problems. AC at a PE of 9 should be up $2.25 just on this news alone. Let's see how  quickly ...more
