Stock price reaction to news

Stock price reaction to newsGenerally, to determine the health of an uptrend in a stock, it helps to look at how a stock acts to the news. If it is good news, normally you expect the stock to go up and if it is bad news one would expect the stock to go down. However the stockmarket is a discounting mechanism. Therefore good news can be interpreted in the stock market as good news, bad news or no news and the same holds true for bad news.
Below is the sequence:
BN=NN
BN=GN
GN=GN  the best of the best for bulls
GN=NN indicates the potential of a peak
GN=BN the market has discounted all the good news and is anticipating bad news
BN=BN The worst for bulls
BN=NN The market starts a bottoming process
BN=GN The cycle starts up again
For ACB I think we are in the GN=GN  bullish phase and Bad News will be ignored.
