RE:RE:What i dont understand....Legality in Canada for rec has become a minor thing. It is happening, for people to get upset over a few weeks here or there at this point is petty. The global rec market is huge. Those nations (Germany recently) are declaring intentions for rec as well.
The entire goal of legalization to replace the black market. The government has never let up on this. Between pricing, quality and safety they will reduce this BK substantially. Again primary goal.
The actual market for MJ in Canada has been estimated by several different groups at around 7 billion. That is the current BK size. IMO, this will get larger for the fact a xertain % will try it once legal. So in Canada 7 plus billion. Globally it is closer to 130 billion. Again these are not my numbers.
THe amount of LP's may grow but they are also getting consolidated just as quickly. The bigger opps are buying up sqft. Even the EU growers are TEAMING with Canadian LP's.
The TWO bets are
1) Will we see legalization?, at this point it is a matter of when,so I am confident on this specualtion
2) Do you believe the demand is there? At the momment the real concern is ability to supply legal product. There are short supply. The LP's are expanding at an incredible rate. All involved seem extremely confident in the demand. So do I.
ACB has roughly 230 000kg on its way (facility in construction included obviously) They are selling it at an average of $8.36/g.
