Heat is a negative. When HPS lights are too close, they burn the plants. When too high, light goes on the walls and not on the plants. Heat promotes fungus and attracts bugs.

APH is a real grower, they use higher efficiency LED. That translates to lower production cost and higher yield. Up to 2 grams to watt!
HPS lighting is a waste. Light is directed on the walls and workers in ACB grow rooms have to use protective glasses because the light isn't focussed on the plants. It's wasted. Just like it's wasted in heat on HPS lighting.
If the idea is to heat up Edmonton instead of maximizing the weed yield, yes, inefficient HPS lighting on a glass greenhouse is the way to go! Tundra idiocy rules with Aurora and its investors.
