Alaris Equity Partners Income Trust (the Trust) is a Canada-based trust. The Trust’s operations consist of investments in private operating entities, typically in the form of preferred or common limited partnership interests, preferred or common interest in limited liability corporations in the United States, and loans receivable. The Trust’s Canadian investments are made through a wholly owned Canadian corporation, Alaris Equity Partners Inc. and its American investments are made through two Delaware corporations, Alaris Equity Partners USA Inc., Salaris USA Royalty Inc., and their subsidiaries.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Big transaction in partnership with Brookfield!!!I'm not saying it's not a good deal. From how it reads, they would have done a redemption otherwise.

If you look at numbers, AD would have received close to $21M in 2023, which could have gone up to $24M in 5 years, with a redemption value of about $185M (up from current $160M).

Now, prior to the extra revenue they can earn, they'll get $12M plus a management fee (I'm not entirely clear if they get the $$$ in all cases) of $1.5M. They also get $20M now and they have upside since they can convert and have profit share splits.

I like the deal myself, but I can see why the share price hasn't shot up on news.
