We cannot predict the future but one of two things is likely, maybe certain
1 an immediate (Q1 2015) boost in the dividend from $3 to $4 (USA funds)
2 another effort to split the company into retail and extraction
I like the company the way it is but there is no doubt that a splitting would boost the share price by at least 20% from the $97 Canadian where it was yesterday.
The typical P/E ratios are higher for pure plays or a clearly defined business
