RE:Ground Breaking - September 26, 2017petropig,
Did you hear the rumours from someone or you just have made them up?
I do not posses a network to gather such rumours but I have not heard any of them.
What I gather from Korean media, the government, at least the local government, is very anxious to re-open Sangdong mine to help local people/economy- I am talking about the county level.
The small mining town has been abandoned for more than 20 years and became a getto now.
I sensed some critics in the industry are bitter for 1) Mr. Black cancled LOI(?) with KDB early this year and invited sevral Europian banks to get a better loan 2) therefore Korans has no skin in this development of strategic metal. They probabaly feel shame to let a Canadian company and Europian banks to have a party in their front yard.
I do not know how Korean government has control over Almonty or tungsten now.
They have to change some related laws. I don't know......... Korea is not China.
I think we will hear re-opening soon. Just wait little longer.
