Yes I have searched Korean medias for Sandong mine once in a while but no news so far.
I read on a local media that Sun-gyu Park, the county supervisor, reiterated the county's support for the project to go smooth and faster in New Year's speach on 1-2-2018.
I read his 'opinion' on a local news paper 2 weeks ago and he was trying to get funds from federal gov for a designation of Sangdong high school in focus of new energy and resources. He expects demand in these field's job market soon.
He mantioned Sandong mine's full operation in 3 years. I don't know why he said in 3 years but I wouln'd take his number seriously anyways.
That is good news as Almonty's success is drectly tied to local people's lives.
Maybe a news is any day now.
