RE:RE:RE:BIG Enviro Issues At Sangdong.
  • This is Absolute BS !!!!!
  • This is not on KFW as they did their due dilligence and so did Almonty. They were both most likely strung along by the SK governemt bodies that everything was ok until now.
  • There is NO WAY IN H3LL those same government bodies didn't know the soil was contaminated by the previous mining company. At the very least they suspected it and did NOTHING.  They had DECADES to check the degree of soil contamination and still did and said NOTHING.
  • Apparently the soil contamination was never an issue (until now) to citizens of the country such that their health was ever in jeopardy.  They sat on it until a mining company came along and was seriously invested and commited to bring Sangdong to production. Now those people come out of the wood work to pin this on Almonty.
  • The time to deal with the soil contamination was when they did the road and river diversion project.
  • This is probably the reason why Goodman is selling their shares.
  • This is the real reason for the delays as this will blow LB's budget.
  • This will impact the share price, and delay our production date, until the issue is resolved.
  • These SK government bodies are complicite in the issue and should bare some responsibility and be required to pay for a portion of the clean up for misleading Almonty in the first place.
