all fair points murrarms. Why would Aim give itself for cheap? Why wouldn't AIM partner with Sunwing Transat etc. Calin would make much more money if AC acquired AIM look at growing numbers with TD and CIBC.. why wouldn't UBER offer Aeroplan points in the future, can Aimia get into Fintech etc?. There are tons of potentials as technology is growing and our society becomes more cashless and dependant on credit cards and points.. Calin lacks vision and believes he can save $2B but I bet there will be a lot of excuses during 15 years which shareholders will suffer while he buys back shares and jacks up stock options for himself and BOD.. Former AIM CEO was somehow connected to old AC roots so may be he felt more loyal to AC and didn't pursue Sunwing etc. Now there is a brand new CEO and let's see what he can do.

SH The document that will answer the questions is the CPSA this is the contract with AC and Aeroplan. That document will contain all the restrictions between AC and Aeroplan. I have a feeling as long as Aeroplan is working under the CPSA with AC , Aeroplan cannot seek other competitors of AC. I know it is that way at Jazz. I'm currently have a call to AIMIA seeking the CPSA agreement document, I cannot find it on SEDAR.

I should of said competitors of Air Canada and THE STAR ALLIANCE
