Great. Now that all the clowns who created the mess have been paid millions maybe Aimia can get around to making some money for the non-insiders. Something had to be done about Paladin, but unless there's another near-term transaction in the works, the timing and pricing of this just stinks IMO.  Gee I wonder if granting Paladin > 5% of the company around multi-year lows has anything ...more

Yup typical Aimia stuff.  I'm sure there's a handshake agreement that Paladin will hold the shares until after voting for the current board at the AGM, then they'll be free to dump them with vigor.  Bad as Mithaq is at least ...more

The shares are locked until November, after which Paladin can do as they wish.  I'm doubtful they'll be a long term holder, given that the Paladin entity seems to have ceased operations, but who knows.  Nice payday for Tariq. The Paladin agreements should never have been signed in the first place.  That was the original sin. It's good to clean them up, and of ...more
