AltaGas to list 10.1 million more shares on TSX April 4

AltaGas Ltd. will list an additional 10.1 million shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the open on Thursday, April 4, 2013, according to the TSX. As in a March 27, 2013, prospectus supplement, AltaGas plans to sell 10.1 million shares to the public at $34.90 each, raising $352.49-million. It has granted the underwriters an overallotment option to buy up to 1,515,000 more shares at the same price for 30 days from the closing of the offering. The company plans to use the money raised to partially finance its acquisition of Blythe Energy LLC, for general corporate purposes and to support future growth initiatives.
