RE:RE:A thought

RE:RE:A thoughtVery hard to answer without knowing your risk profile or target for total percentage annual return.
Also need to know what access you have to additional funds if you get caught in a longer holding period than you bargained for and whether you are using leverage.  For example when the dividend is 5% and you can borrow at 3% that makes a difference.
I have been caught over the years by black swan events with the result that it takes me longer to make my returns so it effectively redcues my annual returns.

How soon does one need any funds from a planned sale or is the investment seen as one to keep for a decade or more and harvest income.

Let's immagine Biden is totally aggressive ( which he won't be)  and everyone sees no future in gas ( which there is)   Then the stock might stagnate and even dip again if a third or 4th wave of Covid hits - Ontario is talking about at least three waves now....

You can see why I am hesitant to answer how much of your portfolio.  I hav emy own strategy and am tring to make back lost ground from other things  and so I am being very aggressive and will stay that way until I see 24 per share.  At that point I will reassess and probably lighten up.

I would also lighten up if I saw it down around 18 again as then something has really blown my current assumption.  PM me if you want to give me your specifics and I might hav emore perspective to give you a useful answer...
