And that is just another reason why rail only is not the smartest and most efficient way to
move gas or oil.   The product is getting moved but if you want to have a vibrant expnading
export market to tap into higher prices in Asia,  the need for a pipeline is just screaming to
be built.   Its almost deafening but the Feds and natives and the eco groups are simply
tone deaf.   This is insanity compounded.    Gov't needs revenue so will increase everyones
taxes,  yet will not facilitate a pipeline that will generate millions in tax dollars.

Marketsense.   Its more than a chokepoint   ..  what is the legal term  "extortion".?   The VOPAK rail study easily clears the way for increased rail traffic.   I  have always said,  Ferndale is a diamond in the rough.  Move more propane  through FERNDALE. If  you review the export table I provide for the vessels ...more

The Native is the problem ,they are useless people, all they crying and complaining, they should not be allow to have any prevlage , should also be ban from votting period

Bushmann I disagree. Native involvement in the energy sector in Alberta and BC is legion and the entrepeneurs among them are crying for opportunities in the pipeline sectors. it is only the native people whom are lied to by the self-serving environmental NGO's that pose opposition.

In that case, ALA could invite a native enterpreneur to sit on the board of directors. The natives then could scream discrimenation, if their favoured transportation method would be opposed by the treehuggers.

Unfortunately bttmfischer, this does not happen much in Canada - or when it does the media does not report the native support for resource projects cuz it goes against the orders from their masters in Ottawa! Just like whenever a Muslim terrorist action occurred in recent years - such as the beheading of a teacher (in France) by radicals. The majority of everyday Muslims do not agree with this ...more
