RE:Gold Price1. the company is absurdly cheap and lots of mid tiers must be seriously interested in making takeover offers 2. they have hedged more than a year's production at significantly higher gold prices, so the more gold drops the more profit they realize on their hedges. This stock was sold down relentlessly by one seller going through BMO. They were dumping still at 84 cents. They are starting to look like the fool I suspected they were when I first saw the dumping. The fundamentals never justified this sell-off, but the stock trajectory correlates well to others like CDM and LMC, being largely a function of sector weakness in general. However ALO already had sold off heavily before this sector capitulation so that the value reached absurd extremes and remains so.
