RE: altius & BNN Small Caps

RE: altius & BNN Small CapsPaul Van Eeden only had one pick on small caps and it was Altius. He focused entirely on the refinery potential and addressed BMO`s ridiculous target price cut. He was confident they were off base with the "execution" risk and agreed there is a short term financing risk. The lenders were lined up ready to puke out cash for the project in August before the credit crisis. As soon as the interest rates in the states stop falling and the financial institutions take their lumps they will be lined up again because the best projects always get money in the end. Till then all we have to look forward to are the the final CSR approval, and JV announcements on potash, oil shale and iron ore. Wonder which comes first? Doesn`t really matter, any one of the four will move us materially higher.
