Financing is next

Financing is nextNLRC will have to look east for financing. The debt markets in North America and even the UK are still pretty much seized up. I suspect they are talking about Persian Gulf money here as they intend to source heavy sour middle eastern crude. The Newfs already have a great relationship with Quatar and the Emirates. This would be the crown jewel in that burgeoning relationship. Who needs the Americans anyway? The future demand growth and refining margins lie with middle distillates especially in Europe. Eyes were opened to this fact when the Scottish refinery went on strike and the whole North Sea ground to  a halt and people started to panic. Its a pretty short run from Placentia Bay to the UK, a heck of a lot closer that the Gulf of Mexico. Congratulations to all longs, it might even be enough to generate some more analcyst coverage. How long before BMO raises its 16 dollar target? Well given their brilliant handling of Altius to date, 16 will be far in the rear view mirrow before they admit their mistake. Its just too bad we had to suffer at their hands for the last 3 months while we waited for the feds to get their act together. I would rather they just quietly dropped their coverage. That would be the proper cowardly exit with that much egg on the face.
