The mining industry is abuzz over some uranium exploration results in Labrador. The price share for Fronteer Mining from Vancouver and its joint venture partner, Altius Minerals from St. John’s, have increased this week with the release of mining results from their property in the central Labrador Mining belt. Fronteer president, Dr. Mark O’Dea, says they are very bullish on exploration results from the historic Michelin deposit, which he believes could host a 50-million pound uranium deposit. Another Vancouver mining company, Crosshair Exploration also reported significant findings from its uranium property in the Lake Moran area. That company’s stock has also jumped in recent weeks.
