There's a conference in Nairobi starting on Monday - perhaps a big splashy announcement at the conference is what Keith Hill is planning? He has done that before & its good PR for the local media & Kenya governmt, etc.

I can't elaborate other than there are rumours and/or leaks of a discovery at Sala.  I also heard they may have had problems with the well similar to Ngamia, if anyone has heard similar please post or pm me. I'm not here to pump the AOI tires, I think we may be on to some very good news! If you follow the breadcrumbs it may just lead back to the gingerbread house~!

I wonder if Marathon would buy out AOI if they do have a discovery on block 9?  I am hearing that they have definitely found hydrocarbons!! cheers (will be back when i have more to report)
