I'm wondering if the statement they made late in Dec to anounce during the 4th Q results in Feb of this year, as to " the plan " has to do with wether AFE hits or not with the Venus well. AFE has 1.4 Billion shares, SNM also has 2.4 Billion shares,

No, they have the money coming in from Prime to buy back shares or do a dividend. They were probably just waiting to choose how much or either/each after the year end and what Prime has left for cash and what it has to pay for its loan facility.  JMO
