I suspect it's just the Upstream article. Upstream article this morning is now saying this is likely the largest ever deepwater find and houses "at least 13.4 billion boe of recoverable resources", which is ~30% bigger than Buzios in Brazil. It goes on to say that they now think there is 200-250m of net pay and that the sands are looking "very, very good from a producibility ...more

Total was very clear need delineation wells to see if commercially viable. This is $3B in wells and 3-5 years away from first oil at best and $10B to more investment to material production. Hopefully contributed to perceived AOI value that has a comically low PE that's 10-20 % of W. Can O&G that swamped with political risk.
