Some Thoughts

  1. Management has shown zero hesitancy to issue shares to raise funds in the past. I can understand that when the Sprott deal fell through they felt they had time to explore alternative debt options and maintian the schedule but once it was clear that they weren't going to get it in place in a reasonable time, they should have swtiched gears and just done another private placement. If faced with the loss of another year to get into production, that should have been the obvious choice here. The fact they didnt do this tells me something else is up here - cost increases, production timeline issues, etc. and they weren't hitting Q4 2022/Q1 2023 even if they had the money.
  2. To do 2 press releases on financing with no solution knowing the share price would take a beating (we're down +/- 60.0% since April) was a terrible, indefensible decision.
  3. The market cap is now +/- $200.0 MM with +/- $72.0 MM of cash on hand and maybe +/- $20.0 MM of debt outstanding...so this company is now worth a net +/- $150.0 MM or so?
  4. Derek has made the comparison that a greenfield project would take +/- 10 years to get into production and Ascot should be much quicker given the infrastructure in place...well as per this mornings new release he'll have been at the helm for +/- 6.5 years when this thing goes into production.
  5. There is too much chatter in the press releases about external factors (Covid, financial markets, weather, other factors). Derek needs to start owning these issues. They haven't done what they said they were going do, they need to acknowledge it.

I agree 100%. Took my loss today. Sold 75% of what I bought the last drop. Took a loss of .12 cents a share.....didn't like it but still up for the last 6 months of trading this. So sick of the BS here. I was surprised but hey I guess not really surprised that more of the same all the time.  Won't touch this until they complete a deal and HOPEFULLY not another Equity Financing.

I agree something shady is going on. Possibly destroying the value on purpose so a major can buy us out for cheap. A little back door deal possibly. Who knows but I smell a skunk
