RE:I HAVE seen this MANY times,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Totally disagree with the 35-40% and the most cases recovering.
First off, AQN hit an intdra-day high of $22.67 on Feb 16, 2021 and a 52 week high of $20.19 on Apr 8, 2022 representing a 58.5% and 53.4% drop respectively.
I'm sure there's more but ALA not recovering is always my favourite and is a imilar situation to AQN with buying a large bad asset and getting into debt trouble. ALA hit a high of $52.16 on Aug 18, 2014 and now trades at $23.13 so is still down 55.6%.
As an aside, I do think AQN will eventually recover to a certain degree and predict it will be higher next year at this time than it is now but I doubt we will see $22.67 in the next 10 years.
My wife & I have no plans to sell any of our 14,430 shares even though I hate seeing such blatant mis-management. That Banskota is up there with the worst CEOs of all time. Poor old Robertson must be so sad to see what's happened to the great company he built.

In ALL CASES the Drop I DID SEE was ALWAYS in the 35 to 40% Range__So as AQN had Plunged from $15__the Current Trading range the past few weeks IS Exactly in THIS RANGE
Also in MOST CASES the Companies I Experienced over the Past 4 Decades INDEED DID RECOVER Nicely.
So AQN right now IS Exactly WHERE it SHOULD BE eh ????
