Many  of these  are index funds .  This  raises  the question as to  whether AQN  because of the large price decline (if maintained)  would be a candidate for removal from  the index. Often  a stock  that has declined sharply  is  replaced by other name(s).  This   would  likely  cause many of these

Fair point. AQN is in the S&P/TSX 60 Index but is one of the lowest weighted stocks. If removed, big ETFs like XIU and others that track this index would sell all their shares. Need AQN's share price and market cap to steady and preferably rise.

Many   others   are  so  called  "Dividend"  funds   with the word Dividend   in  their  name.  Some may have already  bailed  or  are in that  process   anticipating  a  reduction. Others   will   hold off till   it becomes    known
