As I said, It was short covering nothing more. Right back down to $9.30 today, may see a uptick at the end of the day again because AQN is now a day traders dream NOT an investment. I still have my buy order in the mid $8's

At 1pm there was a guy on Market call BNN. Said the dividend cut wasnt a sure thing. After that share price started to recover. I didnt pay attention to his name, just happened to walk in the room when he was talking about AQN.

I wouldn't be surprised if the share price shot upward on the day AQN announces a sizeable dividend cut (if in fact that is what they end up doing, and I would strongly suggest they do so). Market is expecting a dividend cut. Market thinks AQN needs to do a dividend cut.I f the market thought the current dividend yield of over 9.50% CDN was safe and well covered, it would've bid up the

Perhaps because they made a boatload of money and are smart enough not to get too greedy trying to squeeze every last dollar out of their big win. Remember: Bulls make money. Bears make money.
