Given any buyer of the entire company would have to assume all AQN debt, I highly doubt any entity would be willing to pay anywhere close to 14.00 CAD.   The way I see it, AQN is caught between a rock and a hard place. They (literally) cannot afford to lose their investment-grade credit rating - otherwise the debt problem becomes even more serious as their creditors will jack rates up

Still very happy watching this from the sidelines. It has no current catalyst to start moving back up. The market is not going to change its mind,and neither am I, until there is solid, demonstrated improvement in capital allocation and operating performance.
